Alpine is strikingly good-looking, and his markings are perfect. He came from a breeder in Connecticut who has been breeding BMDs since the 90's! There weren't many Berners in the US in the 90's so finding a breeder with that much experience with the breed is rare. 

Al is cautious with new people, and he doesn't warm up to people unless he's met them a few times. His parents were not like that, and it really goes to show that every Berner has a unique personality. Al is very loyal and loving to the people he knows well. He's my big gentle giant who thinks he's a lapdog. Alpine is very non-aggressive, and he stays away from rambunctious dogs or loud noises. Al likes children, and he warms up to them faster than he does adults. 

Alpine's parents are listed in BernerGarde with their health certifications. He will get his hips and elbows checked with OFA after his second birthday! The vet is very impressed with his overall health and bone structure. Please click on the "services" tab to read more about Alpine as a stud.
